The Honest Truth

There is no such thing as perfect privacy on the internet. That said, we're not trying to make things worse.

What We Collect

The basics:

Account info: Your email and password (hashed, obviously)
QR codes: The URLs and data you create codes for
Scan analytics: When someone scans your code, we log basic info like timestamp and country
Standard web stuff: IP addresses, browser info, the usual

What We Don't Do

Sell your data to advertisers or data brokers
Track you across other websites
Read your emails or stalk your socials
Share your info with anyone unless legally required

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in. That's pretty much it. No creepy tracking cookies here.

Third Parties

We use some third-party services to keep things running (hosting, etc.). They have their own privacy policies, and we've picked ones that aren't terrible.

Your Data

You can:

Delete your QR codes anytime
Delete your account (and we'll nuke your data)
Ask us what data we have on you

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data. Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted, and we try not to do anything stupid. But remember — nothing online is 100% secure.

Changes

If we change this policy significantly, we'll let you know. But the gist will always be: we try to collect only what we need and not be creepy about it.
